Kestrel weather meters 4000 are great hiking instruments. They measure wind speed, temperature, wind chill, humidity, barometric pressure, well they just do it all. The 4000 Kestrel weather meters are like having a complete weather station in the palm of your hand.
The 3000 Kestrel weather meter does everything the 4000 does except it with the exception of measuring altitude density and having the capacity to store and upload data.
All Kestrel Weather Meters are extremely sensitive units for accurate weather readings. Large, backlit display. Patented, user-replaceable impeller. Kestrel weather meters have external temperature sensor for fast, accurate readings. Operates on one CR2032 battery. Slim ergonomic design with a rugged case and neck lanyard. All are water resistant to 1 m, float, and include 1 yr warranty.
