Windstopper
Fabrics with Windstopper
The Windstopper fabric membrane can protect you from the windchill effect. Hands stay warm and comfortable. Without Windstopper the hands start to cool quickly in normal gloves despite the fact that the temperature remains constant. this is called the windchill effect.
Windstopper Synergy 3L
This Windstopper Soft Shell laminate combines an abrasion resistant face fabric with an insulative fleece backing and the durably windproof and highly breathable Windstopper membrane.
Windstopper Eiger 3L WS Eiger is the sporty laminate of the Windstopper soft shell generation. The water resistant membrane in combination with the abrasion resistant stretch ripstop outer, ensure total protection. A warm and soft fleece inside and face material specially water repellent treated offer maxiumum comfort in most weather conditions.
Watergate Fabrics
Fabrics with Watergate Technology
These combine face fabrics and membranes and coatings to create waterproof, windproof and breathable fabrics. The face or outer fabric provides the first line of defence. Tightly woven and water repellent, water beads on the surface of the fabric ensuring maxiumum breathability is maintained. The coasting or membrane provide a one-way valve for moisture. Letting your body breathe it allows perspiration through, whilst preventing wind and water droplets penetrating the fabric. 2 layer fabrics are soft, supple and lightweight. 3 layer fabrics have a scrim on the reverse of the fabric increasing the durability for the more demanding user.
